Tao Te Ching written by Lao-tzu (translated a.o. by S. Mitchell) provides amazingly timeless and universal messages. It conveys wisdom ranging from daily matters to deep spiritual truths of Taoism. Recently, I encounter a phrase from it which triggered me to look at it again and share it.

In dwelling, live close to the ground.
In thinking, keep to the simple.
In conflict, be fair and generous.
In governing, don’t try to control.
In work, do what you enjoy.
In family life, be completely present.
